Not all Prime is created equal. Up until a decade ago, only 1-2% of all cattle harvested in the US qualified as Prime. However, in the last decade the USDA Prime category has recently grown to about 7% of harvested cattle.
Enter Sagrera Farms Black Angus cattle. Sagrera Farms only chooses the top 3% of the Angus cattle produced for their hand-selected program that will grade prime. This beef is extremely rare and produced locally on our ranch in East Felicana Parish.
You won't find this rariety at your local grocery store or butcher. Simply put this is the purest genetics around.
